Ah, Parkway Drive, the Aussie metalcore maestros who never fail to deliver a headbanging good time. Their 2007 album "Horizons" is a relentless onslaught of breakdowns, blast beats, and blistering riffs that will have you moshing in your living room. From the opening track "Begin" to the epic closer "Horizons", Parkway Drive show off their technical prowess and songwriting skills with a level of precision that would make a Swiss watchmaker jealous. The duelling guitars of Luke Kilpatrick and Jeff Ling create a wall of sound that is as heavy as a sumo wrestler on steroids, while Winston McCall's vocals range from guttural growls to melodic croons with the finesse of a prima ballerina.
