DUN RINGILL: Hailing from the misty moors of Scotland, DUN RINGILL is not your average folk band. With their haunting vocals, intricate arrangements, and knack for storytelling, this five-piece outfit is making waves in the folk music scene. Lead singer Moira MacMillan's voice is a force to be reckoned with - by turns ethereal and earthy, she weaves tales of love, loss, and longing with a depth and sincerity that is truly captivating. Guitarist Angus MacLeod's deft fingerpicking and soulful melodies provide the perfect backdrop for MacMillan's lyrics, while fiddler Isla Fraser adds a touch of whimsy and fire to the mix.
