Pendragon's latest album Pure is a rollercoaster ride of epic proportions, full of twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. From the opening track "Eternal Light" with its soaring melodies and intricate drum patterns, to the hauntingly beautiful closer "A Ray of Light," Pendragon show no signs of slowing down. The band's virtuoso musicianship is on full display here, with guitarist Nick Barrett shredding like a man possessed and keyboardist Clive Nolan adding layers of lush textures to each track. But what really sets Pure apart is its willingness to take risks and push boundaries. Tracks like "Water" and "Whirlwind" experiment with unconventional time signatures and unexpected musical detours, keeping listeners on their toes and constantly guessing what will come next.
