Our Take
Dire Straits’ “On Location” is a time capsule of 80s nostalgia, complete with that iconic guitar twang and lyrics that ooze with melancholic storytelling. Latching onto the success of their previous albums, the band delivers a solid collection of tracks that transport listeners to a world of neon lights and synthesizers. Mark Knopfler’s signature guitar work shines throughout the album, showcasing his technical prowess and soulful playing.
