Our Take

Ah, Kidz Bop Kids, the gift that keeps on giving. Their latest offering, Kidz Bop 2023 Vol. 2, is a rollercoaster of pure pop perfection. From cheesy covers of chart-topping hits to cringe-worthy renditions of classic tunes, this album has it all.

The Kidz Bop Kids really bring their A-game on tracks like "Good 4 U" and "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)," delivering energetic performances that are guaranteed to get the whole family grooving. But it's their take on more mature songs like "Drivers License" and "Levitating" that really make you question your life choices.

However, as much as I love a good Kidz Bop bop, there are moments on this album that feel a bit forced. The over-the-top production on songs like "Blinding Lights" and "Peaches" can be a bit overwhelming, making you wonder if less is really more.

But hey, who am I to judge? The Kidz Bop Kids have been doing their thing for years, and they clearly know how to keep the kiddos entertained. So if you're looking for some family-friendly fun, Kidz Bop 2023 Vol. 2 is definitely worth a listen. Just don't blame me if you find yourself singing along to "WAP" in the carpool line.
