Finnish power metal pioneers Stratovarius make a triumphant return with their album "Intermission," a collection of b-sides and bonus tracks that showcase the band's unmatched talent and versatility.
From the symphonic epic "Will My Soul Ever Rest in Peace" to the blistering speed metal of "Kill the King," Stratovarius proves once again why they are one of the most influential bands in the genre. Finnish power metal legends Stratovarius have been melting faces and blowing minds since the early 1990s. With their epic, virtuosic musicianship and soaring, operatic vocals, these guys are like the Wagner of metal--except with way more denim and leather. Formed in 1984 in Helsinki, Stratovarius quickly made a name for themselves with their technical prowess and catchy hooks.
