Our Take
Ah, Muse, the perennial purveyors of bombastic rock operas and over-the-top anthems. With their latest offering, "Drones", the band continues to push the boundaries of grandiose soundscapes while delving into darker thematic territory. From the opening track, "Dead Inside", Muse wastes no time in showcasing their signature blend of soaring vocals, punchy guitar riffs, and electronic flourishes. Frontman Matt Bellamy's haunting falsetto weaves seamlessly through each track, creating a sense of urgency and intensity that is hard to ignore.
