STIV BATORS – Disconnected
From the mind of the punk rock legend Stiv Bators comes his solo debut, Disconnected, a wild ride through the dark alleys of 80s rock. This album is a rollercoaster of emotions, with tracks that range from gritty and raw to surprisingly heartfelt.
Opening with the title track, “Disconnected,” Bators sets the tone for the album with his signature raspy vocals and infectious energy. The guitars are frenetic, the drums are pounding, and the overall sound is just pure, unadulterated punk rock goodness. It’s like being transported back to the heyday of CBGB’s, but with a modern twist.
Tracks like “The Last Year” and “Evil Boy” showcase Bators’ ability to write catchy, anthemic choruses that will have you singing along in no time. And then there’s “Make Up Your Mind,” a slower, more reflective track that showcases Bators’ softer side. It’s a welcome change of pace in an otherwise high-energy album.
Overall, Disconnected is a solid debut from Stiv Bators, proving that he’s more than just a punk rock icon - he’s a talented musician with a lot to say. So grab your leather jacket, turn up the volume, and get ready to be blown away by this punk rock masterpiece.

About the artist
Stiv Bators
STIV BATORS: The Rebellious Ringleader of Punk Rock If there's one artist who embodied the spirit of punk rock, it's the enigmatic Stiv Bators. With his signature sneer and devil-may-care attitude, Bators burst onto the music scene in the late 1970s as the lead singer of the influential band, The Dead Boys. His raw vocals and chaotic stage presence instantly set him apart from his contemporaries, earning him a reputation as one of the most dynamic frontmen in punk history. But Bators was more than just a punk icon; he was a true rock 'n' roll renegade. From his early days in Ohio to his later adventures in New York City, Bators always pushed the boundaries of convention, both musically and personally. His offstage antics were legendary, with tales of debauchery and mayhem following him wherever he went. Despite his wild reputation, Bators was a gifted songwriter and musician, with a knack for crafting infectious hooks and anthemic choruses. His solo work, including the critically acclaimed album "Disconnected," showcased a more melodic side to his songwriting, proving that he was much more than just a punk provocateur. Tragically, Bators passed away in 1990, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire generations of musicians to this day. His fearless approach to music and life serves as a reminder that true artistry knows no bounds. So here's to Stiv Bators, the rebellious ringleader of punk rock, whose memory lives on in the hearts and minds of music lovers everywhere. Rest in power, Stiv.
