Our Take

RANCID's latest album, "All The Moonstompers," is a rollicking good time, filled with the band's signature blend of ska and punk. From the moment the opening track kicks in, you'll find yourself skanking and pogoing with reckless abandon.

Tim Armstrong's raspy vocals and blistering guitar work are in fine form, while Matt Freeman's bass lines and Lars Frederiksen's drumming provide a solid foundation for the band's energetic sound. Tracks like "Ska Parade" and "Rude Boy Shuffle" will have you feeling like you've been transported straight to a crowded skank pit, with sweat-soaked bodies bouncing off each other in a frenzy of musical euphoria.

But don't let the upbeat tempo fool you - RANCID still injects plenty of social commentary into their lyrics, tackling topics like political corruption and class struggle with their trademark wit and intelligence. The infectious melodies and catchy choruses will have you singing along from start to finish, making "All The Moonstompers" a must-listen for any fan of the genre.

Overall, RANCID have once again proven why they are legends in the ska-punk scene. "All The Moonstompers" is a raucous, joyous celebration of everything that makes the genre great, and a welcome addition to their already impressive discography. Don your checkerboard Vans, grab a pint of your favourite brew, and get ready to skank the night away - this album is a winner.
