Our Take
Rancid's latest offering, "Indestructible," is a punk rock powerhouse that hits you like a brick wall covered in graffiti. With their signature blend of raw energy and anthemic hooks, the band proves once again why they are legends in the genre. From the opening track "Fall Back Down," with its infectious chorus and driving guitars, to the closing notes of "Red Hot Moon," a ska-infused banger that will have you skanking in no time, Rancid never lets up for a second. Each song is a mini anthem in its own right, packed with political commentary, personal struggles, and unapologetic rebellion. Lead singer Tim Armstrong's gravelly vocals are as distinctive as ever, cutting through the noise like a chainsaw through butter. And the dual guitar attack of Armstrong and Lars Frederiksen is a force to be reckoned with, each riff and solo perfectly complementing the next.
