BLK JKS, pronounced "Black Jacks", are the enigmatic South African quartet that have been causing a stir in the music scene since their formation in 2000. With influences ranging from jazz to punk to Afrobeat, BLK JKS have created a truly unique sound that defies categorisation. Lead singer and guitarist Lindani Buthelezi is known for his soulful vocals and fierce guitar riffs, while bassist Mpumi Mcata provides a solid foundation for the band's complex, rhythm-heavy compositions. Drummer Tshepang Ramoba and guitarist Molefi Makananise complete the lineup, adding their own flair to BLK JKS' mesmerising live performances.
