Ah, the Two Dollar Pistols. What can be said about this band that hasn't already been said about a soggy chip? Their latest album, "You Ruined Everything," is a delightful romp through honky-tonk heaven, with enough twang to send your granny spinning in her grave.
From the opening track, "Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound," to the closing ballad, "Broken Hearts and Empty Pockets," the Pistols deliver a heaping dose of heartbreak and misery with a side of fried chicken. Frontman John Howie Jr.'s crooning vocals are like honey dripping from a moonshine jug, while guitarist Scott McCall's twanging licks will make you want to grab your nearest partner for a two-step around the living room.
