Our Take

Bellrope's latest offering, aptly titled "You Must Relax," is an absolute sonic trip through the outer realms of doom metal. This German quartet has managed to create a cacophony of chaos that is as mesmerising as it is punishing.

From the moment the opening track kicks in, you are hit with a wall of sound that is both relentless and captivating. The guitars are tuned down to an almost subterranean level, creating a dense and sludgy atmosphere that surrounds you like a thick fog. The drums pound away like a relentless war machine, driving the music forward with a sense of urgency.
