Queen of Swords is back with their eighth album, aptly titled "Year 8." And let me tell you, this album is like a fine wine – it gets better with age. The band's trademark blend of catchy hooks and introspective lyrics is on full display here, but with a fresh twist that keeps you on your toes.

From the opening track "Gone Girl" to the haunting closer "Silent Night," Queen of Swords takes you on a sonic journey that is equal parts nostalgic and forward-thinking. The production on this album is top-notch, with each instrument given room to breathe and shine.

Lead singer Emma Green's vocals are as powerful as ever, cutting through the mix like a knife.
