Our Take
Ah, Entrails World Inferno, the latest offering from the Swedish death metal band Entrails. Known for their relentless aggression and unapologetic brutality, this album is no exception. From the moment you press play, you're transported to a world of chaos and mayhem. The opening track, "Hell is Where the Heart Is", kicks things off with a blistering guitar riff that will leave your ears ringing for days. The production on this album is top-notch, with every instrument cutting through the mix like a knife through butter. The drumming is particularly impressive, with lightning-fast blast beats and bone-crushing breakdowns that will have you headbanging until your neck can't take anymore. Lyrically, Entrails aren't reinventing the wheel here. Themes of death, destruction, and all things dark and twisted are par for the course. But what sets them apart is their ability to take these clichés and inject them with a sense of urgency and energy that is truly infectious. Standout tracks include "Bloodbath in Paradise" and "Ritual of the Flesh", both of which showcase Entrails at the top of their game. Fans of old-school death metal will find plenty to love here, but even those who aren't typically fans of the genre will find something to enjoy. Overall, Entrails World Inferno is a triumph of brutality and aggression. It may not be breaking any new ground, but sometimes you just need a good old-fashioned kick in the teeth.
