Our Take

Ah, George Harrison, the quiet Beatle, bringing us some tunes that are so out there, they might as well be on another planet. Wonderwall Music is a trip, man, a trip through the mind of a musical genius who probably smoked a bit too much of the good stuff before hitting the studio.

The album kicks off with "Microbes," a psychedelic journey through what I can only assume is George's attempt at mimicking the sound of microscopic organisms bouncing around in a petri dish. It's weird, it's wacky, and it's surprisingly catchy.

As we delve deeper into the album, we're treated to the whimsical sounds of "Red Lady Too" and "Drilling a Home," both of which sound like the soundtrack to a mad scientist's laboratory.

But don't let the quirkiness fool you, there are moments of pure beauty on Wonderwall Music too. "Ski-Ing" is a hauntingly beautiful track that showcases George's talent as a composer and musician.
