Shawn Mendes - Wonder Rating: 7.5/10 Shawn Mendes' latest offering, Wonder, blends his signature acoustic pop sound with a newfound sense of maturity and introspection. The album opens with the shimmering title track, which sets the tone for a journey of self-discovery and growth. Tracks like "Higher" and "305" showcase Mendes' ability to seamlessly transition from heartfelt ballads to infectious pop anthems. The gorgeous harmonies and lush production on songs like "Look Up At The Stars" demonstrate Mendes' continued growth as a singer and songwriter. One of the standout tracks on the album is "Call My Friends", a nostalgic ode to the simplicity of youth and the importance of maintaining connections. The infectious chorus and bouncy rhythm make it a definite standout. While Mendes' vocal prowess is undeniable, Wonder does suffer from a lack of sonic diversity.
