Our Take

DAN FOGELBERG's "Windows And Walls" is like wandering into a quaint pub in the Cotswolds only to find yourself surrounded by a crowd of Morris dancers doing the Macarena. This album is a perplexing mix of folk, country, and soft rock that somehow manages to be both comforting and utterly bizarre.

From the opening track "The Language of Love" to the haunting piano ballad "Believe in Me," Fogelberg's songwriting is as unexpected as the British weather.
