Our Take

Ah, the Arctic Monkeys, a band that needs no introduction but decided to give themselves one anyway with the cheekily titled "Who The Fuck Are Arctic Monkeys?" EP. This four-track project serves as a reminder that the Monkeys are still as brash, bold, and British as ever.

Title track "Who The Fuck Are Arctic Monkeys?" kicks things off with a bang, as frontman Alex Turner's sneering vocals come crashing through the speakers like a pint glass hitting the floor of a crowded pub. The lyrics are classic Monkeys, equal parts witty and acerbic, with Turner musing on fame, fortune, and the perils of being a rock star in the digital age.

"Electricity" follows suit, with a funky bassline and infectious guitar riff that will have you tapping your foot and nodding your head in no time. It's a bit more laid-back than the title track, but no less memorable.

The EP's standout track, however, is "Perhaps Vampires Is A Bit Strong But…". This is classic Arctic Monkeys at their best, with Turner's acerbic wit on full display as he takes aim at the music industry and those who would dare criticize his band.
