It's not every day that an album comes along that truly makes you stop in your tracks and say, "What the bloody hell is this?" But that's exactly the reaction you'll have when you press play on White Widows Pact's self-titled debut album.
From the moment the first guitar riff kicks in, you know you're in for a wild ride. The New York-based band's unique blend of sludge metal and hardcore punk is a sonic assault on the senses, and it's not for the faint of heart.
Lead vocalist David Castillo's raw, guttural screams cut through the cacophony of distorted guitars and thunderous drums like a knife through butter. It's a visceral, uncompromising sound that grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go.
