Our Take

Sick of It All are like that weird uncle who still rocks a mullet and plays air guitar at family gatherings - unapologetically loud, energetic, and a little bit wild. Their latest album, "When The Smoke Clears," is a nostalgic trip back to the heyday of hardcore punk, with a modern twist that will have you moshing in no time.

From the moment the first track kicks in, you know you're in for a wild ride. The riffs are as crunchy as a bag of Walkers crisps, the drums hit harder than a pint of warm lager, and the vocals are more aggressive than a Brit trying to jump the queue. It's a relentless assault on the senses that will leave you feeling exhilarated and a little bit bruised.

But don't mistake their raw energy for lack of skill - these guys are seasoned pros who know how to craft a killer tune. Songs like "The Bland Within" and "Paper Tiger" showcase their knack for catchy hooks and razor-sharp lyrics that cut through the noise like a Sunday roast on a hangover.

So if you're looking for a jolt of adrenaline to shake up your playlist, look no further than Sick of It All's "When The Smoke Clears." It's a whirlwind of punk rock fury that will have you shouting along and throwing up your horns in no time. Turn it up loud, grab a pint, and get ready to dive headfirst into the pit. Cheers, you bloody legends.

About the artist

Sick of It All

Hailing from the mean streets of New York City, SICK OF IT ALL are the godfathers of hardcore punk, with a career spanning more than three decades. Formed in 1986 by brothers Lou and Pete Koller, alongside bassist Craig Setari and drummer Armand Majidi, these guys have been kicking ass and taking names since before some of you were even born. Their sound is a glorious cacophony of blistering guitar riffs, thunderous drums, and Lou Koller's signature gravelly vocals that sound like he just swallowed a handful of nails for breakfast. Their lyrics are full of righteous anger and social commentary, tackling everything from political corruption to personal struggles with the same ferocity. But what really sets SICK OF IT ALL apart is their live show. These guys are absolute animals on stage, with boundless energy and a no-holds-barred attitude that will leave you gasping for breath and begging for more. They're like a shot of adrenaline straight to the heart, and once you've seen them in action, you'll never be the same again. So if you're looking for some raw, unfiltered punk rock that will leave you bruised, battered, and grinning from ear to ear, look no further than SICK OF IT ALL. These guys are the real deal, and they're not afraid to kick your arse if you don't believe it. Trust me, you don't want to mess with them.
