Our Take
Jaws the Shark's latest album, "Wasteland," is a wild ride through a musical dystopia that will leave you bewildered, exhausted, and strangely satisfied. From the opening track "Shark Attack" to the closing notes of "Wasteland Blues," this album doesn't hold back in its assault on your ears. The band's signature blend of punk rock, surf rock, and psychedelic influences is on full display here, creating a sound that is both chaotic and strangely cohesive. The guitar riffs are jagged and frenetic, the drums pounding like a relentless wave, and the vocals alternately howling and crooning.
