You need this album because They Walked In Line is on it. It was supposed to be the debut release from Joy Division, and it’s very punky.
Besides a great album. This vinyl release is superb! All of the sound is there and in depth! You will be amazed at the quality of this since it was originally a bootleg or so we heard with poor quality but this pressing is grade A+ and on immaculate thick silver coloured vinyl.
If you already know about the album or like punk/Joy Division and are thinking about picking this up, I highly recommend you do so. Great pressing of a rare early JD album, including an early version of Transmission…Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance to the radio!

By 1978, the band evolved into Joy Division, a name as unforgettable as the music they created. Their debut album, Unknown Pleasures, released in 1979, was a monumental achievement, lauded for its depth and ingenuity. Tragically, the death of their magnetic frontman, Ian Curtis, in 1980 marked the end of Joy Division, but the creative spark didn’t fade. The remaining members went on to form New Order, another legendary act born from the legacy of Warsaw.
