Our Take

Legendary Swedish pop quartet ABBA have once again graced us with their infectious melodies and catchy hooks on their album "Voulez-Vous." But does this disco-infused record hit the mark or fall flat on the dancefloor?

From the get-go, you can tell that ABBA are ready to get the party started with the opening track "As Good As New." This track sets the tone for the album with its pulsating beat and soaring harmonies. It's hard not to feel the urge to get up and dance along to this toe-tapping number.

Tracks like "Angel Eyes" and "I Have a Dream" showcase ABBA's versatility as they seamlessly blend pop sensibilities with heartfelt lyrics. The infectious energy of "Does Your Mother Know" will have you singing along in no time, while the title track "Voulez-Vous" is a disco anthem that is sure to be a hit on the dancefloor.

However, not every track on this album is a winner. "Lovers (Live a Little Longer)" feels a bit lacklustre compared to the other standout tracks, and "If It Wasn't for the Nights" doesn't quite hit the mark with its repetitive chorus.
