Our Take

BUNNYGRUNT’s latest offering, Vol. 4, is a chaotic mix of light-hearted fun and off-kilter melodies that will either leave you tapping your feet or scratching your head in confusion. The St. Louis trio serves up a steaming plate of indie rock with a side of whimsy, blending elements of punk, pop, and garage to create a sound that is uniquely their own.

Lead vocalist and guitarist Karen Ried’s quirky lyrics are both endearing and befuddling, tackling topics ranging from alien abductions to existential crises with equal parts wit and bewilderment.
