Alex Lifeson, the enigmatic guitarist of Canadian rock band Rush, is a true rock god in every sense of the word. With his signature long curly locks and impressive guitar skills, Lifeson has been at the forefront of progressive rock music for over four decades. Born Alexander Zivojinovich in 1953 in Fernie, British Columbia, Lifeson first picked up a guitar at the age of 12 and never looked back. Alongside his bandmates Geddy Lee and Neil Peart, Lifeson helped to redefine the rock genre, blending complex musical arrangements with thought-provoking lyrics.
