Our Take
Our Take
Prepare to be engulfed in a symphony of sonic chaos with Marco Beltrami's Venom: Let There Be Carnage - Original Soundtrack. This limited edition translucent red vinyl release is as tantalizing as a devil's deal, luring you into a world of dark, twisted melodies.
Beltrami, known for his work on horror films like Scream and The Woman in Black, brings his signature atmospheric flair to this soundtrack. From the menacing opening notes of "Carnage Beckons" to the frenetic energy of "Rampage," each track pulsates with a palpable sense of dread and impending doom.
The album's standout track, "Carnage Unleashed," is a tour de force of orchestral fury, perfectly capturing the chaotic essence of the film's titular villain. Beltrami's use of eerie strings and thunderous percussion creates a sense of unease that will send shivers down your spine.
But don't let the darkness of Venom: Let There Be Carnage - Original Soundtrack scare you away. This is a vinyl that demands to be played loud, with each track building to a crescendo of epic proportions. So grab a blood-red cocktail, dim the lights, and let Marco Beltrami's sinister symphonies transport you to a world of mayhem and madness. Venom may be the one with the teeth, but it's Beltrami's music that will leave you breathless.

About the artist
Marco Beltrami
MARCO BELTRAMI With a name like Marco Beltrami, you might expect an Italian opera singer or a smooth jazz saxophonist. But prepare to have your expectations shattered, my music-loving friends, because Marco Beltrami is neither of those things. In fact, he's a world-renowned composer and maestro of the film score. Hailing from New York City, Beltrami has carved out a niche for himself in the cutthroat world of Hollywood soundtracks. He burst onto the scene in the late '90s with his work on the horror flick "Scream," and has since racked up an impressive list of credits that includes everything from Westerns to superhero blockbusters. What sets Beltrami apart from his contemporaries is his willingness to experiment with different musical styles and techniques. He's not afraid to throw in a bit of avant-garde electronica or a haunting choir of dissonant voices if it serves the story. The result is a body of work that is as varied as it is compelling. But don't let his serious composer persona fool you - Beltrami knows how to have a good time too. Rumour has it he once composed an entire score using just a kazoo and a pair of spoons. If that doesn't scream musical genius, I don't know what does. So whether you're a film buff looking to enhance your next movie night or just a music lover in search of something a little different, Marco Beltrami's discography is definitely worth a listen. Just don't be surprised if you find yourself humming his tunes long after the credits have rolled.
