Our Take
Ah, Oasis, the fighting, feuding, powerhouse brothers of Britpop. These Mancunian lads have been tearing up stages across the globe since the '90s, and their live performances have become the stuff of legend. So naturally, when I heard about the release of their live album "Oasis Vancouver 1995", I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. The album kicks off with a bang, with the anthemic "Rock 'n' Roll Star" setting the tone for the rest of the set. Liam's vocals are as raw and powerful as ever, cutting through the wall of sound created by Noel's guitar wizardry. And let's not forget the rhythm section of Bonehead, Guigsy, and Whitey, who keep the whole thing ticking along nicely. But it's not all high-energy rockers on this album. Tracks like "Champagne Supernova" and "Don't Look Back in Anger" showcase the band's more introspective side, with Noel's heartfelt lyrics hitting you right in the feels.
