Album Review: KISS Unmasked When KISS decided to shed their iconic makeup and reveal their true faces on the cover of Unmasked, fans were left wondering if the music would be just as revealing. And let me tell you, this album is a rollercoaster of surprises from start to finish. From the infectious hooks of "Is That You?" to the bombastic glam rock of "Shandi," KISS shows their versatility on this record. It's clear that the band is not afraid to experiment with different styles and sounds, often with mixed results. The standout track on Unmasked has to be "Talk to Me," with its catchy chorus and killer guitar riffs. This is a song that will have you tapping your foot and singing along in no time. However, there are some missteps on the album, such as the forgettable ballad "Naked City" and the lacklustre "She's So European." But even with these minor hiccups, KISS manages to keep the energy up and the listener engaged throughout. Overall, Unmasked may not be KISS's strongest album, but it's certainly an enjoyable listen for fans of the band.
