Our Take

I can't believe I'm about to review this album by LAUFEY, "Typical Of Mein." I mean, who even is LAUFEY? Is that their real name or just something they made up after one too many pints at the pub? But hey, who am I to judge? Maybe they're the next big thing in the music scene. Only time will tell.

From the first track, "Hello, Stranger," with its dreamy vocals and staccato piano, it's clear that LAUFEY has a unique sound that sets them apart from the crowd. But is it enough to make them stand out in the oversaturated world of indie pop? Only time will tell.

As the album progresses, tracks like "Lost Without You" and "Midnight Train" showcase LAUFEY's ability to switch effortlessly between genres, from soulful ballads to foot-stomping anthems. But is this versatility a strength or a weakness? Only time will tell.

Overall, "Typical Of Mein" is a solid debut from an artist that shows promise. Will LAUFEY be the next big thing? Only time will tell. But one thing's for sure, this album is definitely worth a listen. Just don't ask me to pronounce their name.
