Our Take

The second installment of Twinscapes, a collaboration between Colin Edwin and Lorenzo Feliciati, takes a modern approach to the dancefloor that will have you gyrating like a jellyfish on speed. Edwin, best known for his work in the prog rock band Porcupine Tree, and Feliciati, an Italian bass virtuoso, join forces once again to deliver a musical experience that is as experimental as it is infectious.

From the opening track "Funky Monkey Business" to the dreamy vibes of "Lunar Eclipse", Twinscapes 2 is a rollercoaster ride of sonic exploration. The funky bass lines and intricate rhythms will have you grooving in no time, while the unexpected twists and turns will keep you on your toes.

The album's standout track, "Disco Inferno", is a frenetic dancefloor anthem that channels the spirit of 70s disco with a modern twist. The infectious beat and catchy hooks will have you shaking your hips like there's no tomorrow.

Overall, Twinscapes 2 is a fresh and exciting take on the dancefloor genre that showcases the immense talent of both Colin Edwin and Lorenzo Feliciati. With its infectious grooves and experimental soundscapes, this album is sure to be a hit with both music lovers and party animals alike. So, grab your dancing shoes and get ready to boogie down to the sounds of Twinscapes 2.

About the artist

Colin Edwin & Lorenzo Feliciati

Colin Edwin and Lorenzo Feliciati, the dynamic duo behind the avant-garde music project Twinscapes, are not your average bassists. With decades of experience in the music industry under their belt, these two virtuosos have come together to create a sound that is truly out of this world. Colin Edwin, known for his work with the legendary band Porcupine Tree, brings his signature moody and atmospheric bass lines to the table, while Lorenzo Feliciati, a seasoned jazz fusion master, adds his own brand of technical wizardry to the mix. Together, they blend electronic elements with live instrumentation to create a sonic landscape that is equal parts dark and danceable. Their latest album, "Inventio," is a mind-bending journey through soundscapes that will leave you questioning everything you thought you knew about music. What sets Twinscapes apart from other music acts is their willingness to push boundaries and take risks. They are unafraid to experiment with unconventional time signatures and genre-bending compositions, creating a sound that is both challenging and rewarding for the listener. With their unique blend of electronic, jazz, and progressive rock influences, Colin Edwin and Lorenzo Feliciati are carving out a niche for themselves in the music world that is all their own. Keep an eye on these two innovative musicians – the future of music is in good hands with Twinscapes at the helm.
