Our Take

Avicii's TRUE is an album that proves sometimes you can have too much of a good thing. With its infectious dance beats and catchy hooks, this album is like a non-stop party that you never want to end. But after a while, all the pounding bass and pulsating synths start to blend together into one big blur of sound. Don't get me wrong, there are some standout tracks on TRUE that will have you dancing like no one's watching. Songs like "Wake Me Up" and "Hey Brother" are pop gems that will have you singing along at the top of your lungs. But then there are tracks like "Liar Liar" and "Hope There's Someone" that feel like filler material, leaving you wondering if Avicii maybe hit a creative slump halfway through making this album.
