It was there that he first crossed paths with a little-known band called The Beatles, who were honing their craft in the infamous Reeperbahn district. The lads were so impressed by Sheridan's gritty vocals and charismatic stage presence that they invited him to record with them, leading to the iconic "My Bonnie" single in 1961.
