Yes, you read that right – Tankard, the self-proclaimed "Kings of Beer Metal," have been rocking beer-soaked stages since the early 1980s. Formed in Frankfurt in 1982, Tankard quickly made a name for themselves with their energetic live performances and tongue-in-cheek lyrics about all things beer. Frontman Andreas "Gerre" Geremia's gravelly vocals and charismatic stage presence have become synonymous with the band's sound, while guitarist Frank Thorwarth, drummer Olaf Zissel, and bassist Andreas Bulgaropulos provide the blistering musical backdrop. Tankard's discography is a beer-fueled journey through the highs and lows of the thrash metal scene.
