Our Take

Boygenius, the supergroup consisting of indie darlings Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus, have blessed us with their debut self-titled EP, and boy, is it genius.

From the moment the opening track "Bite the Hand" hits your eardrums, you know you're in for something special. The harmonies are tight, the lyrics are poignant, and the musicianship is top-notch. These three ladies have a chemistry that is undeniable, and it shines through in every note.

"Me & My Dog" is a standout track, with Bridgers' haunting vocals soaring over Baker and Dacus' intricate guitar work. The song builds and builds, reaching a crescendo that will leave you breathless.

But it's not all doom and gloom on this EP. Tracks like "Salt in the Wound" and "Stay Down" show off Boygenius' playful side, with catchy melodies and clever lyrics that will have you singing along in no time.
