The London Suede. A band so cool, they had to stick “The” in front of their name. Like they’re the only Suede worth knowing in all of London. Well, after 30 years, they’ve released a deluxe edition of their classic self-titled album, with a shiny new 2023 master to boot. From the moment you press play, you’re transported back to the grungy Britpop scene of the ‘90s. Brett Anderson’s voice still drips with that signature angst and longing, like he’s just smashed a bottle of wine against a brick wall and into his heart.
