Our Take
The Journeymen's self-titled album/Coming Attraction - Live! is a wild ride through the whimsical world of folk rock. Imagine if Mumford & Sons got lost in a time machine and ended up at a beach party in the 1960s – that's the vibe this dynamic duo brings to the table. From the opening track, "The Journeymen Theme", you know you're in for a treat. The harmonies are tight, the instrumentation is spot on, and the energy is infectious. It's like The Beach Boys meets Fleet Foxes, with a sprinkle of Monty Python absurdity thrown in for good measure. Lead singer and guitarist, Bob "Beardy" Johnson, has a voice that could make angels weep.
