Our Take

Tally-ho, old chaps! Today we find ourselves diving headfirst into the chaotic world of WARFATHER and their latest offering, ‘The Grey Eminence’. This album is a whirlwind of madness, a cacophony of sound that will leave you questioning your very existence.

The opening track, ‘Rise of the Antichrist’, hits you like a sledgehammer to the face - in the best possible way, of course. The pounding drums and shredding guitars create a wall of sound that is both exhilarating and terrifying. It’s like being caught in a tornado of darkness and despair, but in the most fun way imaginable.

Lead singer Steve Tucker’s vocals are as menacing as ever, growling and snarling his way through each track with a ferocity that is unmatched. The dude sounds like a bear that just woke up from a nap and is veeeeery hungry.

But it’s not all doom and gloom on ‘The Grey Eminence’. Tracks like ‘The Cult of Shining Stars’ and ‘Ageless Merciless’ offer some moments of respite, with haunting melodies and hypnotic rhythms that will transport you to another dimension.

Overall, ‘The Grey Eminence’ is a wild ride from start to finish. If you’re into heavy, aggressive music that will make your grandma’s ear hairs stand on end, then this album is for you. Just make sure to buckle up and hold on tight, because WARFATHER is taking you on a one-way trip to the depths of hell. Cheers!

Known for his work as the frontman of the legendary Morbid Angel, Tucker has established himself as a brutal force to be reckoned with in the metal scene. With Warfather, Tucker takes his ferocious growls and menacing riffs to new levels of intensity. His latest album, "The Grey Eminence," is a sonic onslaught of relentless aggression and dark, brooding atmosphere. The album showcases Tucker's musical prowess and his ability to craft intricate, punishing compositions that will leave listeners with their heads banging and ears ringing. Warfather's sound is a fusion of death metal, black metal and thrash, creating a unique blend that is both brutal and melodic. With a live show that is a full-body assault on the senses, Warfather is a force to be reckoned with on stage. Tucker's commanding presence and intense energy make for a performance that is both mesmerizing and terrifying. Whether you're a die-hard metalhead or just looking to expand your musical horizons, Warfather is a must-listen for anyone craving a sonic experience that will leave them breathless and begging for more. Steve Tucker may be a veteran in the metal world, but with Warfather, he proves that he is still at the top of his game and ready to conquer new territories in the extreme music landscape.
