Our Take

Ah, Duran Duran - the band that taught us all how to dance like your dad at a wedding. The Essential Collection is a rollercoaster ride through the hits and misses of one of the most iconic bands of the 80s. From the synth-heavy bangers of "Hungry Like the Wolf" to the underrated gems like "Save a Prayer," this album has it all.

The band's signature blend of new wave and pop is on full display here, with each track oozing with that unmistakable Duran Duran flair. Simon Le Bon's vocals soar over the catchy hooks and pulsating beats, making it impossible not to tap your foot along.

Of course, no Duran Duran album would be complete without the hair-raising, shoulder-padded anthem "Rio." This track alone is worth the price of admission, transporting you straight back to the neon-lit dance floors of the 80s.
