These Manchester lads burst onto the scene in the late 80s, blending indie rock with a psychedelic twist that took the Britpop world by storm. Lead singer Ian Brown's iconic Mancunian drawl, guitarist John Squire's intricate riffs, bassist Mani's groovy basslines, and drummer Reni's swaggering beats all come together to create an infectious sound that's as mesmerizing as it is danceable. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1989, is a timeless classic that includes anthems like "I Wanna Be Adored" and "She Bangs the Drums."
