In the annals of rock 'n' roll history, few bands have achieved the cult status of The Velvet Underground. Their raw, experimental sound paved the way for countless punk and alternative acts, and their live performances were the stuff of legend. So when a recording of their July 11th, 1969 show at The Boston Tea Party surfaced, music nerds around the world collectively lost their minds.
