It's been 36 years since Run-D.M.C. graced the legendary Apollo Theater with their iconic performance, and the energy of that night is palpable in this newly unearthed recording. The Apollo '86 captures the rap pioneers at the height of their powers, delivering a masterclass in hip-hop showmanship that still sounds fresh today. From the moment Darryl "DMC" McDaniels, Joseph "Run" Simmons, and Jason "Jam Master Jay" Mizell hit the stage, it's clear that they're on fire.
