Ah, the holiday season, a time for joy, cheer, and questionable festive music choices. And speaking of questionable choices, we have Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormé's "That Holiday Feeling!" album. From the moment you press play, you'll feel like you've been transported to a tacky Christmas sweater party in your grandparents' living room. The cheesy synths, the over-the-top brass sections, the cringeworthy duets - it's all here. But somehow, against all odds, Lawrence and Gormé manage to make it work. Their chemistry is undeniable, their voices blend like two slightly off-key angels harmonising over a dodgy backing track. It's almost endearing in its sheer awkwardness. Tracks like "Jingle Bells" and "Winter Wonderland" are given the full Vegas treatment, complete with enough schmaltz to make even the Grinch crack a smile. And let's not forget the classic "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" which is so overdone it's almost good again. Is this album a timeless classic? Definitely not. Is it a guilty pleasure for those who enjoy a good cringe-inducing sing-along? Absolutely. So grab a glass of eggnog, put on your ugliest Christmas jumper, and surrender yourself to the holiday cheese of Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormé. Just don't say we didn't warn you.
