Our Take

Ah, Mr. Big, the masters of cheese-rock excess, have returned once again with their latest offering, "Ten".

From the opening track, "Trapped in Toyland", it's clear that the band are not holding back on the signature bombast and virtuosic guitar solos that have become their trademark. Singer Eric Martin's vocals soar over the intricate instrumentation, capturing the listener with both power and range.

Tracks like "I'm the One Who Wants to be With You" and "To Be With You" showcase the band's ability to craft catchy, radio-friendly anthems that still manage to pack a punch.

However, the album isn't without its missteps. The ballad "Just Take My Heart" falls flat, sounding like a rejected power ballad from a forgotten 80s soundtrack.
