Our Take
Ah, the Scorpions. The German rockers have been around for decades, churning out hit after hit. Their 1977 album "Taken By Force" is no exception. From the opening track "Steamrock Fever," it's clear that the Scorpions are not messing around. The riffs are heavy, the vocals are powerful, and the energy is infectious. One standout track is "We'll Burn the Sky," a slow-burning epic that showcases the band's versatility. The guitar work is top-notch, and Klaus Meine's vocals soar to new heights. But it's not all raw power and aggression. "I've Got to Be Free" is a surprisingly tender ballad that shows a different side of the band. Meine's vocals are emotive, and the lyrics are heartfelt.
