Our Take
In their latest release, "Spirits," Nothing More takes us on a wild ride that is equal parts exhilarating and perplexing. The album kicks off with the infectious beats of "Let 'em Burn," setting the tone for what's to come - a fusion of heavy rock riffs and smooth melodic vocals that will leave you headbanging one minute and swaying the next.
But it's not just the music that grabs your attention - Nothing More has a message to share, and they're not afraid to get political. Tracks like "God's Speed" and "Do You Really Want It?" tackle social issues head-on, urging listeners to wake up and take action. It's refreshing to see a band using their platform for more than just mindless entertainment.
Of course, not every track hits the mark. "Ripping Me Apart" feels like a generic rock anthem that we've heard a thousand times before, while "Funny Little Creatures" comes off as a bit too cheesy for our liking. But hey, no album is perfect, right?
Overall, "Spirits" is a solid effort from Nothing More. It may not reinvent the wheel, but it's a fun, energetic listen that will leave you feeling pumped up and ready to take on the world - or at least the nearest mosh pit.
