Album Review: Mike Tramp - Songs of White Lion Mike Tramp, the Danish rocker who made his mark with the glam metal band White Lion, is back with a collection of reimagined classics in "Songs of White Lion". Much like a faded mullet, this album is a reminder of a bygone era but still manages to bring some nostalgic charm. Tramp's raspy vocals, like a gravelly siren calling you back to the '80s, breathe new life into hits like "Wait" and "When the Children Cry". The stripped-down acoustic arrangements give a fresh perspective on these familiar tunes, showing that they can still pack a punch without all the hairspray and leather. While some tracks fall flat, with Tramp struggling to hit the high notes of his youth, there are moments of brilliance that make this album worth a spin. "Radar Love" in particular stands out as a raucous sing-along that will have you air-guitaring in no time.
