Our Take

11 GUYS QUARTET have returned with their latest offering, "Small Blues And Grooves", and it's safe to say that this album is about as small as my chances of ever understanding quantum physics. Packed with funky basslines, jazzy riffs, and a sprinkling of bluesy goodness, this album is like a musical melting pot, or should I say, melting pot of tea.

From the opening track "Funky Town Blues" to the closing notes of "Groove Machine", 11 GUYS QUARTET expertly blend different genres and styles to create a truly unique listening experience. It's like a delicious musical sandwich, with each track acting as a different layer of flavour and texture.

Lead vocalist Steve Smith's soulful voice effortlessly glides over the intricate instrumentation, pulling you in and making you feel like you're part of the band. It's like being invited to a jam session at your coolest friend's house, only this time you don't have to worry about accidentally breaking their vintage Fender Stratocaster.

"Small Blues And Grooves" is a testament to 11 GUYS QUARTET's talent and creativity, and it's a must-listen for anyone who appreciates good music. So grab your headphones, settle in with a cuppa, and let the grooves wash over you like a wave of musical brilliance. This album might be small in title, but it's definitely big in sound.
