Black Flag - Slip It In Oi oi, what's all this then? Black Flag, the legendary punk outfit from the sunny shores of California, are back with their latest offering "Slip It In". And let me tell you, this album is about as subtle as a sledgehammer to the face. From the moment you press play, you're hit with a wall of raw, unbridled energy that doesn't let up for a second. Lead singer Henry Rollins delivers his trademark barking vocals with all the intensity of a man possessed, while the rest of the band thrashes away like there's no tomorrow. Tracks like the title track "Slip It In" and "My Ghetto" are pure punk perfection, with their blistering guitars and pounding drums creating a frenzied whirlwind of sound. It's not always pretty, but it sure is exhilarating. But it's not all chaos and mayhem on this album. Black Flag show their softer side on tracks like "You're Not Evil" and "The Bars", where they dial back the aggression and let their melodies shine through.
