So why tinker with a classic, you may ask? Well, it appears that Symarip have decided to give this old gem a good old spit and polish with their latest release "Skinhead Moonstomp Revisited." From the opening track, it's clear that this album is a loving tribute to the original, with a few modern twists thrown in for good measure. The unmistakable ska beats and catchy horns are still there, but with a fresh new energy that can only come from a band that truly loves and respects the genre. Tracks like "Skinhead Girl" and "Phoenix City" are given a new lease of life with updated production and even a few surprise guest appearances.
